M Mursalin & Co is registered in Greater Kolkata, the cultural capital of India, for the commercial trading of rawhide, supplying to exporters & tanners.
1981 : 2nd Gen
Toptans tannery is established to churn finished leather. Manufacturing of small goods & garments kicks off in 5 years, and exports to Europe begin in the ’90s.
2016 : 3rd Gen
Salman Ahmed moves to Minneapolis–Saint Paul metro and begins experimenting with fashion, drawing inspiration from multiple visits to NYC and Berlin.
